2011 MVP Managers Award
(Dec 12, Taipei) “2011 100 MVP Managers
Award” is an extraordinary reward in Taiwan holding by
MANAGER today Magazine, which is a professional business
magazine in Taiwan. To response to 100 years anniversary
of Republic of China, the main theme for this year award
is “ManagerNEXT” with four evaluation categories:
Navigate into Success, Enforce Adaptation, Execute
Excellent, and Think Different. The award winners should
be able to show their leadership and guild the
organization to face the challenges and walk into next
new era. This award would choose 100 top managers among
thousands corporations in Taiwan. The CEO of Joy, James
Liang, is proud to be one of MVP Managers this year by
remarkable achievement of creating a total solution for
LED lamp heat-dissipation to dramatically extend the
lifespan of products. It is not only an honorable
recognition of Mr. Liang’s innovation ability, but also
the best address for Joy’s outstanding product
quality.
Unique heat-dissipation technology leads to
boost up the lifespan and efficiency of LED lamps.
Under world energy-insufficient
circumstance, it is unquestionable that LED lighting,
with high energy-saving efficiency, will become the main
lighting stream in near future. However, there is still
part of energy will transform to heat, instead of light,
when we lighting up LED lamps. The heat will be gathered
between LED chipset and substrate, and will affect the
lifespan of LED chipset and product if there is no
proper heat-dissipation method. In order to solve this
critical problem, James Liang adopted the
heat-dissipation technology from industrial computer
server system and created a heat sink type named
“Sunflower” to apply on LED lamps. This unique heat sink
structure is not only tremendously increasing
heat-dissipation area, but also enhancing the thermal
conductivity of LED lamps. This innovative technology
has been patented in Taiwan, United States, German, and
Japan.
Besides, Mr. Liang also thinks light
fixture can be an art piece to decorate living space.
Therefore, the sense of art is another design element
while creating the efficient heat sinks for LED lamps.
He says: “Due to long lifespan and small size, LED lamps
have wide range of application, and can be placed in
several areas in living environment. Our job is not only
creating high performance products but also an elegant
object to enhance living quality.” Thus, Joy has won M
Technology, iF Design Award, and Red Dot Product Design
due to this art insistence. Joy also becomes the first
LED lamps manufacturers obtained this top 3 design
awards among LED industry.
As winning this extraordinary 100 MVP
manager glory, Mr. Liang says: “I would like to thank
