OUR PHILOSOPHY Our missionSpecializing in Small Wind Turbine, NHEOLIS designs and manufactures nheowind 3D turbines introducing a new dimension technology. Our objective is to provide a larger access to affordable renewable power. Emerging as a European leader, responsible designer and manufacturer, we aim to bring out one of the most cost competitive kWh on the global market. We offer to our domestic, business and community customers high quality products designed to achieve outstanding silence, performance, robustness and aesthetic quality, based on a unique technology to generate their own power. Our history NHEOLIS was incorporated in 2006 by Nordine Haddjeri, joined later by Marc Lassus (founder and former CEO of GEMPLUS), currently strategic advisor of NHEOLIS. Based on the Bernoulli principle maximizing wind power output, this entrepreneurship project capitalized on fluid dynamics to introduce an innovative 3D design for the nheowind blades efficiently using the wind kinetic energy. Since its first steps, NHEOLIS is committed to deliver quality: three years of research relying on the expertise of CNRS (1) and ONERA (2) have resulted in 3 international patents. In December 2009, NHEOLIS has been awarded with the Gold EEP Award of the European Environmental Press for excellence in environmental innovation. NHEOLIS is an active member of AFPPE (French Association of Small Wind Professionals), Renewable UK (trade and professional body for the UK wind and marine renewables industries), AWEA (American Wind Energy Association) and EWEA (European Wind Energy Association). authority of France's Ministry of Research. NHEOLIS and CNRS have
partnered on tests in subsonic wind tunnels that have
helped validating NHEOLIS Wind Turbine innovation. [2]
ONERA (Office National d’Etudes et Recherches
Aérospatiales) is the French national aerospace research center. NHEOLIS
has partnered with ONERA on research on aerodynamic modeling. |
